Jamie Martinez


I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE IN GARDEN CITY KANSAS.  I WANTED TO PLAY THE DRUMS ALL MY LIFE.  I FINALLY GOT MY FIRST KIT IN 1989.  THAT YEAR AND INTO THE EARLY 90'S  I WAS IN A BAND CALLED SITTIN PRITTI.  WE PLAYED QUITE A FEW GIGS AROUND HERE AND IN THE SURROUNDING AREA.  ABOUT 1992-1993 I MOVED TO DENVER COLORADO.  THERE I WAS IN A BAND CALLED METAL MINISTER.  WE PLAYED SOME HEAVY STUFF.  I GOT A JOB WITH RSVP SOUND AND STARTED RUNNING LIGHTS AND MONITORS FOR A LOT OF THE LOCAL ACTS IN THE DENVER AREA.  WITH THAT JOB CAME WORKING WITH NATIONAL ACTS AS WELL.  I WORKED WITH AND MET BANDS LIKE TUFF, BROTHER CANE, GARY HOEY, ACE FREHLEY, JACKYL, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, MR. BIG AND SOME OTHERS.  THE GREATEST THING WAS GETTING HIRED FOR THE PINK FLOYD SHOW AT THE OLD MILE HIGH STADIUM.  NOTHING GLAMOURUS JUST A WHOLE LOT OF HARD WORK.  I ALSO GOT TO SEE ACE LOADING HIS GUITAR FOR HIS SOLO WHEN IT CATCHES FIRE.  THAT WAS PRETTY COOL.  NOW I'M BACK IN GARDEN CITY WHERE I'VE HOOKED UP WITH SOME PRETTY WICKED MUSICIANS.  WE FORMED  THIS BAND AND INTEND TO KEEP ON ROCKIN'.  THANKS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT US AND COME TO THE SHOWS.  IT 'S AWESOME TO SEE FAMILIAR FACES AND MEET NEW PEOPLE.  WE APPRECIATE EVERYONE WHO COMES TO HEAR US PLAY AND HOPE YOU ALL KEEP COMING.  THANKS AGAIN,  AND KEEP IT SLICK.        JAMIE MARTINEZ

Louis LeFort





Louis brings the blues influence to Slick Richard. Louis is a long time member of the local blues act "Third Degree" as well as holding down the bottom end for Slick Richard. In the mid 90's , Louis traveled with "Third Degree" to Memphis TN, to represent the state of Kansas at the national finals "House of Blues" battle of the bands.
Louis has had the pleasure of opening for some major blues and rock acts during his playing days, and hopefully will get the opportunity to do so again with Slick Richard
You will often find Louis out dancing with the crowd, with his bass around his neck - dancing and jammin', so when you see him out there, say hello !



Wally Moore





Wally brings 23 years of playing experience to Slick Richard. Wally has played in both rock and country bands, as well as playing with local blues act "Third Degree" with fellow band member Louis LeFort. Some of the local acts that Wally has played in are Frontstreet, Sagebrush, Tom Foolery, True Blonde, Desert Rain, and RamRod.
Wally has opened for national acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, Molly Hatchet, Edgar Winter, Pat Travers, Nazareth, Starship, Dr Hook, and many more.
In the 80's, Wally was a top ten finalist, two different years, in Edginton Midwests Hot Licks Guitar Contest.
